Need to Know
RESERVING A DATE & PAYING YOUR DEPOSIT
If like us you fall in love with voco Winchester, you can hold your perfect wedding date with us for 10 days. During this time, we will send across a contact outlining your chosen date and menu package.
At the end of the 10 days, should you wish to go ahead a deposit of £1,000 will then be due alongside your signed contract.
All remaining balance will be due 4 week prior to your wedding date which is when we require final numbers and details.
CIVIL CEREMONY
We are licenced for civil ceremonies with Hampshire Registry Office. Please call 03005 551 392 or email ceremonies.northhants@hants.gov.uk to reserve your ceremony date and time.
We recommend a ceremony time of around 2pm, but you can choose earlier or later should you wish!
CORKAGE
We do not allow any alcohol to be drunk onsite unless provided by voco Winchester. Any alcohol brought externally will be ceased by the hotel. Unfortunately, we do not permit alcoholic favours.
MENU TASTING
A menu tasting is provided on a complimentary basis for the wedding couple ahead of your special day to try the food. You will have the opportunity to try two starters, two mains and two desserts between you both. Your Wedding Manager will be in touch around 6 months before your big day to book this in for you.
1 glass of wine will be complimentary per guest. Any additional drinks consumed at the menu tasting will be chargeable.
Additional guests are welcome at an additional charge; please contact us for more information.
EXTERNAL WEDDING SUPPLIERS
You are welcome to bring in any additional external wedding suppliers such as florists, bands, DJs or photographers. All suppliers contact details must be given to your Wedding Manager at your final details meeting including suppliers Public Liability Insurance and copy of PAT certificate (should they be using electrical items).
Should wedding suppliers need earlier access than 10am to the venue, please contact your Wedding Manager in advance. This will be subject to availability.
